Where are we?

We reside in Greece, on the lovely Island Kos. The village you need to find is Mastihari. A small fisherman's village with the perfect mix of local originals and tourism. You can find us directly on the harbor front and with the pictures on display here you can't miss it!

Our bar

The owner is Panajottis and he is Greek and Hilary is English. If you speak one or both languages and you're in for a chat, it will most likely happen! The atmosphere is mostly casual and it's more like a big living room than a grand café.

Our music is international, nicely mixed with some local music and certainly not to loud to disturb your conversation. We have a big television display to make sure you don't miss out on the special events you like to watch.

Our visitors of our bar are a variety of local Greeks, permanent foreigners and summertime tourists. It's a big advantage for our summer guests to be able to speak to the locals (that is ... if they want to), they always end up with good advice where to go and what to visit. Places the average tourist will hardly see.

But many of our guests sometimes just like to sit and read or watch the world go past. Either way we welcome you to Dolce Mare Cafe!
